Failed to consistently capitalise – August '23

Dear FJ,

I like to think I"m an expert in communication and editorial but it was with horror when I realised I hadn't been consistent in capitalising  my headings on this website. Just because the site is about failure does not mean it has to scream failure!

So the various titles of my articles read something like:

• Not pitch perfect – July '23
• Lux'd Out – June '23
• Deconstructed Coronation Quiche – May '23
• Crashed Car – April '23
• Gained weight – Feb '23

Now this may not mean a lot to you, but this inconsistency in which words start with a capital letter in the heading is quite distressing to me! Additionally, I may have been rushing to trying to save time and now I have to spend more time fixing it.

Lessons

1. Spare an extra minute to check it! As someone once said: A stitch in time saves nine!

2. Have a style sheet or check list when you are creating or doing repeat items over and over.
